Pink Floyd, Twin Peaks,Nobel Prizes, Nothing More and Harper

I want to talk about a few themes today. Let`s talk ISIS. Is it worth Canada and the U.S investing huge military contributions to eradicate this terrorist group? No it is not. ISIS is another small terrorist group that has risen to the media because of its beheadings in public. We must take into consideration that this group is no more effective than the Hamas or Hezbollah when it comes to war except that the fear mongering has erupted because of their violent tendencies. Destroying this group will take at least a decade if indeed they are ever destroyed. We will lose plenty of Canadians for nothing because if they are eventually eradicated another group will come in its place. Let the groups in the Middle East fight it out. Contributions of food and guns is reasonable to fight off these groups but actuallyu offering our soldiers is outrageous. Another reason for voting out Harper. Talking about Harper, today I learned that Harper is the only head of state to reject a U.N statute protecting the rights of the indigenous people while he has destroyed the environmental laws in Canada. However, there is a good chance the illiterates of Canada will vote him back in as they did for Rob Ford even though he is a blatant racist and exhibits other weird behavior. Vote out Harper and put pressure on Obama to stop the madness.

The Nobel Prizes are coming up and we have some interesting concepts being awarded especially in the area of dark energy and fermions and bosons. These women may have a good chance . Let us hope it is not just males getting the prize.

The physics prizes are coming up next week.

Lets talk Science and pop culture . Remember that Congratulaions, you are a Science Nerd is available at and Barnes and Noble. The ultimate book in pop culture, cosmology and physics for young adults and adults that are young at heart.

Here is the hard rock video countdown by Loudwire.

Malcolm Young , from AC/DC has dementia.

Paul Revere of Paul Revere and the Raiders is dead at 76.

David Lynch`s Twin Peaks is coming back in 2016. I can only hope it never happens. You can not repeat the creativity in the script again and a decent followup is unlikely.

New Who track planned and another last tour probably planned also.

Pink Floyd previews their new cd.

Finally another piece of science with a look at gaming.

I will be back again . I think. Maybe. More new hot bands Nothing More Live long and prosper. Ian Liberman
